We are pleased to announce that approximately 10 fully funded scholarships (each worth over £ 12 000 to tuition fees) are available for applicants from the following countries of the Commonwealth Development control study for our forests through distance learning:Bangladesh, Botswana, Cameroon, Gambia, Ghana, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
The scholarship also includes a grant of £ 2000 to the researchers in a study tour that will take place in foreign countries participate in the July / August
Supplementary training is primarily for students who have an interest in forestry and the desire to design more of the environmental and social benefits that forests can learn. Suitable candidates are employed in forestry / forest industry / management of natural resources, particularly in the areas of planning, regulation, policy, monitoring and protection of the environment. The course is also suitable for people working in forestry schools who wish to deepen their knowledge and know-how to improve their teaching.
