Adelaide Graduate Centre Free Scholarships Online International 2011


The Graduate Centre Free Scholarships Online is responsible for the management and administration of research education at the University of Adelaide including:
* admissions (domestic students only)
* enrolments
* candidature
* scholarships

* thesis examination
* the delivery of professional development programs for research students and supervisors
* the Integrated Bridging Program—Research (IBP-R) for international students and recent permanent residents for whom English is an alternative language.

Detail:
Up to 15 Free Scholarships Online may be available in 2011 to outstanding international students from any country undertaking postgraduate research in any academic discipline. Free Scholarships Online Benefits are payment of full tuition fees for the normal duration of the program. The sole selection criteria for the Adelaide Fee Free Scholarships Online International (AFSI) will be academic merit. Unlike the IPRS, the AFSI applicants do not need to be applying to an area of research strength in the University. The Research Priority Areas of the University will be taken into consideration when awarding these scholarships.

10 Fully-Funded Distance Learning Free Scholarship Online

We are pleased to announce that approximately 10 fully funded scholarships (each worth over £ 12 000 to tuition fees) are available for applicants from the following countries of the Commonwealth Development control study for our forests through distance learning:

Bangladesh, Botswana, Cameroon, Gambia, Ghana, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.

The scholarship also includes a grant of £ 2000 to the researchers in a study tour that will take place in foreign countries participate in the July / August

Supplementary training is primarily for students who have an interest in forestry and the desire to design more of the environmental and social benefits that forests can learn. Suitable candidates are employed in forestry / forest industry / management of natural resources, particularly in the areas of planning, regulation, policy, monitoring and protection of the environment. The course is also suitable for people working in forestry schools who wish to deepen their knowledge and know-how to improve their teaching

2 PhD Positions Free Scholarship Online in Statistics by The Uppsala University, Sweden

Scholarship Details:

The discipline of Statistics analyses and develops methods to interpret and draw scientific conclusions from data. The main research areas at the Division of Statistics are time series analysis/econometrics and structural equation modelling.

Eligibility Details:

Eligible for a PhD position is the student with a Master degree, completed courses of 240 ECTS points, whereof at least 60 ECTS points on Master level, or equivalent. Further, the specific entry requirement is 90 ECTS points in statistics or equivalent. Solid background in mathematics and in applied science is considered a merit.

Graduate Study:

The graduate study normally comprises four years of full-time studies. Studies include 105 ECTS of courses and a dissertation of 135 ECTS. The thesis (or the articles that it consists of) should be publishable in international scientific journals. It should be defended on a seminar with an external discussant and a grading committee.
